Calming-Stress: Heart-based Tools for Improving Well-Being and Family Relationships

Learn what happens in the body under stress and what cognitive and relational abilities break down. Through demonstrations and audience participation, parents and children will discover tools they can use to lessen the intensity of their stress reactions in the moment and for the long term. Together, parents and children can become empowered to live from a place of greater calm and control that will enhance their well-being and relationships. This presentation will be appropriate for adolescents and parents.
This event is free and open to the public.
